The Grand Mesa National Forest has some of the most diverse wildlife in the state of Colorado. Our state is known as "Colorful Colorado" so bring your camera. Pictures can be taken while on trail rides or on camping trips. There is an abundance of elk, deer, black bear, and small game species.
